Department of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery No. 2
3rd floor
The task of the department is to provide advisory, diagnostic and surgical care to patients with congenital pathology of the heart and large vessels, as well as with cardiac arrhythmias.
Department staff
Every year, the department’s staff performs about 500 heart surgeries of varying degrees of complexity for children from the newborn period to 18 years old. The staff of the department has published about 100 publications on the problem of congenital heart defects. There are 4 copyright certificates for the invention for the surgical treatment of congenital heart defects. The department’s doctors have completed internships in specialized clinics in Germany, Poland and Russia, and regularly attend international congresses and conferences on cardiac surgery and cardiology.
