In the Children’s Surgery National Applied Research Hospital,  Medos Deltastream MDC (manufactured by Medos Medizintechnik AG) for extracorporeal membrane oxygenation has been installed.

Mr. Winnie Dramburg (Export Director Medos Medizintechnik AG) held a seminar on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation as a life support method from 24 to 26 January 2017.

The following issues were considered in the training course:

– the composition of stationary equipment, the designation of all the systems;

– one-time contours, types, selection, filling;

– indications – contraindications to use;

– a variety of assistance for extracorporeal life support, the main differences.

During the training period a practical course of work was carried out at Medos Deltastream MDC.
